A brilliant opportunity for a BMS Senior Commissioning Engineer to work for a Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) company that is well known all over the UK and has been around for decades. They offer system solutions using market leading products within the BEMS sector. They are expanding and are looking to grow their team.
The BMS Senior Commissioning Engineer Position
You will carry out the full commissioning process on newly installed BMS panels, integration, and loose controls to a complete and operational system. You will play a vital role and will often be the go-to person for all things controls.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be required to assist in the training of junior engineers
Conducting energy audits
Updating the project manager on progress and status of the commissioning
Commissioning BMS systems
Integration of third-party systems into the BMS using MODbus, Mbus OR BACnet enabled devices
Producing detailed commissioning reports, test results and as fitted drawings
Having a hand in the development of controls solutions and applications
Making clients aware of the benefits and savings from adapting the system
Supervising additional trades and company personnel
Installing, modifying, and demonstrating supervisor graphics
Salary and Benefits Package
Impressive salary of £50,000, dependant on experience
Company car or car allowance of £300 a month

Requirements
In depth knowledge of BEMS and conventional controls
Can read schematic drawings
Can identify applications
Able to carry out surveys on existing systems
You need to have the capability to produce precise reports
Excellent fault-finding skills
Person Profile
As a BMS Senior Commissioning Engineer, you will need to be trustworthy, well presented and be able to work unsupervised. You will have good communication skills as well as a logical approach.
