​BMS Project Engineer - £60,000 – South East England

I am currently representing a large company who provide a complete BMS service from system design right through to commissioning, maintenance, and optimisation to improve and maintain the performance of buildings. Our client is looking for a BMS Project Engineer to join their growing team.

The BMS Project Engineer role

Your role will be to work with the project team to deliver projects to client requirements, on time and on budget.

Key skills required

Trend or Tridium or another BMS system such as Schneider, Johnsons, Easy IO

Strong IT skills

Exceptional time management

Complex problem solving skills

Dependable and honest

 

Salary and Package

•Salary between £50-60K dependent on experience

•Company car

•Fuel allowance of £6,200

•Private health insurance

•Company pension

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver projects from the start to the end.

Produce and put forward schedule of works at the start of the project and update regularly to reflect actual and projected progress.

Produce project related documentation such as.

·         Description of Operation

·         Points Lists

·         Points Schedules

·         Technical Submittals

·         Requests for Information (RFIs)

Issue all project related documentation to the relevant parties.

Coordinate with panel manufacturers and electrical installers.

Configure software strategies or direct liaison with other company engineers to co-ordinate software configuration in line with the Description of Operation

Liaise with the Client regarding the various project works on site.

Oversee graphics creation when necessary.

Support site commissioning engineers and maintenance department occasionally.

Commissioning works on live sites.

Perform risk assessments and method statements with support from the Project Manager.

Production of O&M documentation

 

Person Profile

You will need to be able to multi-task, reliable, good interpersonal and communication skills and are able to handle complex problem-solving skills.
