Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and inspire the Bureau Team to deliver excellence, encouraging accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Coach and develop team members to ensure high performance and career growth
Create a culture of outstanding service delivery and customer focus
Business Growth & Strategy
Drive the Bureau business plan, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation
Develop new chargeable bureau services to increase revenue and enhance client retention
Support the commercial team in selling bureau services to new and existing clients
Service Delivery & Operations
Oversee 24/7 remote monitoring and ensure performance meets KPIs and SLAs
Manage the bureau ticketing system and 24/7 on-call procedures
Monitor performance data to identify trends and implement improvements
Ensure continuous connectivity to client buildings and manage relationships with IT and connected solutions providers
Technical Oversight
Provide expert guidance across Trend and Tridium BMS platforms (including IQVision)
Oversee graphics representation of buildings within Cloud platforms
Lead troubleshooting, system optimisation, and performance analysis initiatives
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and partners
Collaborate with marketing to produce service communications, reports, and promotional materials
Ensure a premium client experience at every touchpoint
Financial & Commercial Performance
Deliver services within budget and financial targets
Manage invoicing, contracts, and commercial aspects of the bureau
Identify opportunities to maximise revenue and improve efficiency
Skills & Experience
Essential
Proven experience leading service teams, ideally in energy, utilities, or smart building services
Expertise in Trend and Tridium BMS platforms (IQVision preferred)
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
Commercial awareness with budget and service management experience
Ability to deliver services against KPIs and SLAs
Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Strong understanding of smart building technologies and connected IT networks
Desirable
Experience in energy monitoring, carbon reporting, or sustainability services
Knowledge of remote monitoring platforms and BMS graphics software
Experience in 24/7 service delivery environments
