Our client is a small but fast expanding property development company based in Southampton. Due to growth they are looking to hire their first Marketing Manager into the business to bring all marketing functions in house.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous marketing experience who is looking for a step up from a Marketing Executive role into a management position. Whilst initially you will not have any direct reports as the company expands and the role develops it is expected you will hire more junior staff further in the future.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have some relevant marketing experience in a property related sector such as Construction, Estate Agency, Architecture or New Build Developers. Marketing qualifications are of course welcome but on their own will not be enough to get you through this role, therefore a minimum of 2 - 3 years marketing experience is a pre requisite.
The company currently uses external PR, Marketing and Creative agencies and the intention is to bring everything in house and also oversee branding, a complete website overhaul and promote development launches.
Person specification
Proven experience in property related marketing ideally gained within a smaller organisation
Strong command of English language with excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
Strong digital marketing skills across web, social media, and paid advertising
Experience managing and briefing external agencies, photographers, and creative suppliers
Familiarity with CRM systems and lead management processes
Confident handling CGIs, visual assets, and off-plan sales material
Proven ability to manage brand consistency
